Privacy Policy

Introduction

Reflect generates relationship analyses on request and keeps only the minimal account information needed to run the service. We collect nothing beyond what is necessary to operate the app.

Data We Collect

To run the service, we collect only what is necessary:

• An anonymous account identifier, assigned automatically to link your purchases and remaining reports to this device. It is not tied to your name or email.
• Your remaining report balance.
• Your purchase history (which report packs or subscription you buy), processed through Apple and RevenueCat.
• The conversation you upload, which is processed to generate your report (see “AI Processing” below).
• Basic technical and diagnostic information needed to operate the app and troubleshoot problems.

We do not collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.

How Your Reports Are Created

Reports are generated only when you request an analysis. Once created, a report is cached locally on your device so you can revisit it. We do not keep your analyses on our servers after they have been generated — there is no long-term storage of your reports on our side.

Your Account

Reflect uses an anonymous account identifier to associate your purchases and restore access on this device, along with your remaining report balance. This account stores only what is necessary — it does not require or hold information that personally identifies you.

AI Processing

When you request an analysis, your uploaded conversation export is securely processed to generate that report. It is used only to produce the analysis you requested and is not used for any other purpose. No human deliberately reads your conversations.

If an analysis fails, the submitted conversation may be retained temporarily and reviewed solely to diagnose the technical problem that caused the failure. It is not read for any other reason and is removed once the issue is resolved.

Third-Party Services

We share data with a small number of trusted service providers, only as needed to run Reflect. Each is required to protect your data:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — anonymous sign-in, database, and cloud functions that power the app.
• RevenueCat — manages your in-app purchases and subscription status.
• Apple — processes all payments through your App Store account.
• AI processing provider(s) — your uploaded conversation is securely sent to a third-party AI service solely to generate your report.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Children's Privacy

Reflect is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.

Delete Your Data

You can permanently delete your anonymous account and remove all locally stored reports at any time from Settings → “Delete Account & Data.”

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and continued use of Reflect means you accept the updated policy.
